As professionals on heliports, we have been involved in over 200 projects for consultation and design, and have already installed aluminum deck heliports (rooftop) at over 130 locations in Japan, including hospitals and government offices. Our aluminum deck heliport is also in use at Showa Base in the Antarctic.
The greatest joy comes from the contribution of heliports, we have been involved in, to society. Helicopters are used for many purposes such as emergency medical service, reporting, transportation, and leisure, keeping our lives safe and enriching. We believe that the increase in the number of beautiful and safe heliports will result increase in the demand for helicopter usage, and our lives will become even more fulfilling.
Recently, we have been receiving more inquiries about vertiports for "flying cars" (V-port). There are differences between a helicopter, a "flying car", and a "drone," which are not enough recognized yet. Many people think that a rooftop heliport can also be used as a V-port or Drone port(D-port). Without the understanding of the differences, an unfortunate port may appear that does not meet the purpose of use. So, what we should do now for the coming new era to install beautiful and safe V-port and D-port? At this exhibition, we exhibit information on the answer to this question. "Roof-top V-ports" in urban areas need to be considered and prepared for the installations earlier than “flying cars” begin flying over the sky. Please come to see us to get ideas of what we should prepare now for the landing infrastructure installation for the new era of “next-generation air mobility” coming in 10-20 years, or beyond. “Can't flying cars take off from current concrete floors?" We also exhibit information of our concern over "magnetic fields" at heliports which might also affect the autonomous flight of future flying cars and drones at landing sites. We propose a non-magnetic aluminum deck or a non-magnetic PC floorboard for this issue.
