JAXA Pursues Sustainable Aviation with its "SkyGreen+" program
JAXA is working to advance sustainable aviation technologies through its "SkyGreen+" program.
At the JAXA booth at JA2024, we will showcase some of these initiatives. Highlights include MEGAWATT, a technology demonstration project aimed at developing and demonstrating electric hybrid propulsion systems for jet aircraft, and the Re-BooT project, which focuses on demonstrating robust low-boom design technology that can reduce sonic booms over a broader area for supersonic passenger aircraft.
