AMORCELL®

AMORCELL® is a new material made by amorphizing of sustainable wood cellulose fibers produced using renewable energy. It has toughness that exceeds that of plastics and can be used as a new non-petroleum material.

Density: 1.4 g/cm3 (density of cellulose molecule is 1.5 g/cm3)
Raw materials: pulp and water only
Expected to be used for satellite housing components with zero outgassing
Hardness equivalent to acrylic resin
About twice the impact strength of polypropylene
Excellent elastic deformation
Oxygen barrier properties exceeding aluminum deposition
Excellent hydrogen barrier properties
Completely sustainable and recyclable

It is used to dry dehydrated and solidified cellulose nanofiber compacts.
By setting the press conditions, it can operate automatically for one cycle.
The hydraulic and electrical systems have been simplified as much as possible, reducing the number of breakdowns and making maintenance easy.
The cylinders and pistons are made using special copper tubing, which provides excellent performance.
