We use WAAM-type 3D printers and conduct prototyping and research in collaboration with customers in various industries.
<WAAM (Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing)>
A type of metal 3D printer that uses welding wire as the raw material. This equipment is a repurposed version of an already established welding technology. Compared to the widely used powder bed method (a type that solidifies metal powder), it has advantages such as "Low cost", "High-speed" and "Suitable for large-scale modeling."
Our efforts have also been adopted by the Small and Medium Enterprise Agency's Go-Tech project, and we are approaching this from various aspects, such as modeling methods and raw materials, and are advancing research and development toward commercialization.
The models we will be exhibiting are models made using stainless steel (308L), Ni-based alloy (Inconel 718), and aluminum alloy wire (A7075). In particular, for the aluminum alloy, we are exhibiting a fuel tank model made using development wire made of A7075 (super duralumin), which does not currently have a wire standard, so please take a look.
We are also working on modeling with various other materials, such as duplex stainless steel and copper alloys etc, so please contact us.
