New Developments in Long-Term Reliability and Durability of Carbon Fiber Reinforced Composites
To realize a sustainable society, our laboratory evaluates the strength and fracture properties of materials on a multi-scale, and is engaged in the creation of new materials and the development of technologies to improve durability. In particular, we are promoting research on the evaluation of giga-cycle fatigue properties of carbon fiber-reinforced plastic laminates and the development of dissimilar bonding technology with 3D nanostructured interfaces.
