Each part used in the robot is treated separately. At first glance, the colored parts look like they have been dyed anodized, but they are actually dyed hard anodized (Diano "CL") that we developed.
Hard anodized aluminum produces a coating color that is blackish gray or brownish gray, so it is not suitable for dyeing in colors other than black.
The Diano "CL" we developed is highly transparent, and even when dyed in colors other than black, it has a vivid appearance. It is a coating that maintains the performance of hard anodized aluminum and also has a beautiful appearance.
Dyed anodized aluminum is generally dyed on a white anodized coating, but we developed Diano "CL" in response to inquiries from customers asking if it is possible to dye while maintaining the performance of hard anodized aluminum. We develop coatings that can solve our customers' problems.
The framework of the plane is chemically coated.
The coating liquid used is "BONDERITE M-CR 1200S AERO," which is specified as a chemical coating liquid (QPL-81706) in the US military's MIL standard.
It is characterized by a pale yellow to yellowish brown appearance. By applying the coating, corrosion resistance and paint adhesion are improved, and since the electrical resistance of the coating is extremely low, it can also be used for electronic components.
In addition, the base part is partially blue-anodized by masking so that our logo can be dyed anodized.

This exhibit is a metal model of a "bone plane" made by Wako Co., Ltd. (booth number W2-009).
The aluminum alloy used is the same as that used in actual aircraft, and I was overwhelmed by the intricate construction.
