CubeSat
Magnesium alloys are the lightest of all practical metals, with a specific gravity two-thirds that of aluminum alloys and one-fourth that of iron. The exhibition will feature a small artificial satellite （CubeSat） with enhanced safety and lightweight effects by replacing it with a flammable magnesium alloy that overcomes its shortcoming of being easily flammable.

Additive manufacturing
As weight reduction is required in various fields, we have succeeded in manufacturing and mass-producing magnesium alloy powder that is flame retardant, and we can respond to new needs in the space industry by additive manufacturing using a metal 3Dprinter that can handle
small-lot, multi-type, and complex fabrication, and we expect to further expand its applications.
