We have the necessary equipment and technology to apply a composite plating in which fine PTFE particles are uniformly dispersed and co-deposited in an electroless nickel coating.
Features of Kaniflon® coating: The unique properties and durability of co-deposited PTFE are imparted to the coating.
・Self-lubricating, wear-resistant, and damage-resistant
The self-lubricating feature of PTFE resin is effective in preventing galling and seizing.
It is less likely to scratch or peel off compared to other resins or PTFE coatings.
・Plating uniformity
The lubricity of PTFE particles is demonstrated not only on the plating's surface, but also throughout its entire depth.
・Corrosion resistance
With no pinholes and excellent coverage, corrosion is less likely to occur.
・Adhesion
Each PTFE particle is firmly held in the matrix. Kaniflon® exhibits strong adhesion to the base material due to its metal matrix.
・Conductivity and anti-static effect
The metal matrix (Ni-P) makes it suitable for use in semiconductors and precision equipment that are sensitive to static electricity and dust.
We have the necessary equipment and technology to apply electroless nickel - low phosphorus, low boron, high-performance plating.
Features of Kaniboron® plating: It has outstanding wear resistance, more than three times that of standard electroless nickel-phosphorus plating.
・High hardness
Achieves HV 700, and with heat treatment, this can increase to approximately HV 1000.
・Heat resistance
It offers better heat resistance than standard electroless nickel-phosphorus plating and is suitable for high-temperature applications.
・Impact resistance
Despite its high hardness, the coating remains tough and does not crack or become brittle.
・Slidability
It has the unique property of reducing wear on both chrome-plated and nitrided mating materials, while also resisting wear itself.
・Toughness
Despite the crystallization during the plating process, it maintains high toughness and hardness.
HVOF is the latest thermal spraying method that utilizes high-speed flame spraying by igniting large quantities of high-pressure combustion-supporting gas and combustible gas. The flame reaches a temperature of approximately 2800 ℃ and a speed of around 1400 m/sec ~ 2100 m/sec. The spray powder is accelerated at a high speed, creating a coating with excellent density and adhesion.
・Possible to form a coating with high hardness of 1000 HV or more and high density
・High adhesion strength achievable
・Offers superior wear and corrosion resistance
・Capable of handling a wide range of coating thicknesses, including thick coatings
・Provides a uniform and precise surface finish
・Can create a high-quality coating with few pores and oxides (low porosity)
