High-performance antibacterial plating

The high-performance antibacterial plating technology (KENIFINE™) uses a special antibacterial nickel alloy plating treatment on the base material to exhibit over 10 times more antibacterial properties and 50 times more antifungal properties than conventional antibacterial materials.

In addition, it also has antiviral properties, and has been shown to be effective against SARS, the new type of influenza, and the new coronavirus, and can be expected to be used as a countermeasure against various viruses.

Regarding water-related products, it is effective in preventing algae and suppressing slime, preventing the growth of algae and suppressing slime.

These effects are immediate and work even in the dark.

※KENIFINE™ is a registered trademark of Kobe Steel., Ltd.

Main exhibits 2

High-performance antibacterial plating film

Utilizing high-performance antibacterial plating technology (KENIFINE™), we apply antibacterial special nickel alloy plating to the base material.

The antibacterial plating is peeled off from the base material to form a film, which is then turned into powder.

The powdered antibacterial plating film maintains its antibacterial effects and is used in a wide range of products, including fibers (yarn), coatings, wax, and resin materials.

The fibers (yarn) have been made into insoles for socks, shoes, and boots and are used in environments where the feet are prone to get sweaty, such as when hiking or on manufacturing sites.

The coating agents and waxes are used in hospitals, nursing homes, and other facilities where sterile conditions are preferable, and are expected to help prevent the spread of diseases.
