ACTUATION SYSTEMS & BRAKING SYSTEMS
ACTUATION SYSTEMS:
- Landing Gear Actuators (Main and nose retract, landing gear doors, steering, lock stay and side brace actuators);
- Thrust Reverser Actuators (Hydraulic actuators for thrust reverser deploy and stow operations, integrating internal locking devices to avoid thrust reverser inadvertent deploy in flight, snubbing devices to prevent shock, manual release device to allow manual unlocking. Moreover engineering and manufacturing expertise to design and develop fully integrated TRAS solutions based on Customer specifications.)
- Flight Controls (Air Brake Systems, Pilot Input Transducer, Engine Throttle Input Transducers);
- Utility Actuators (Canopy actuators, Cargo Doors opening/closing actuators, Rear ramp actuators);
BRAKING SYSTEMS:
- Rotor Brakes (Mechanical, Hydraulic, Electro-mechanical);
- Wheel Brakes (Mechanical and Hydraulic for helicopters and UAVs)

HYDRAULIC POWER SYSTEMS & HYDRAULIC MODULES AND VALVES
HYDRAULIC POWER SYSTEMS:
- Accumulators (piston-type and can be equipped with electric or visual pressure indicators to allow a direct check of the gas pre-charge);
- Hydraulic Reservoirs (vented or bootstrap type, according to the specific application. Reservoirs can be equipped with electrical sensors for fluid level)
- Filter Packages (including disposable or cleanable filter elements, the clogging indicators (either electrical or visual type), the by-pass valves, the pressure and temperature sensors and the ground servicing quick disconnects)
HYDRAULIC MODULES AND VALVES:
- Hydraulic Manifolds (Manifolds are typically made of aluminum alloy or steel and are able to contain and to connect all the inner components and to ensure mechanical and hydraulic interfaces with the A/C.
Manifolds are opportunely designed in order to integrate Servovalves, Solenoid Valves, Check and Relief cartridge type valves, Pressure/Temperature Switches & Transducers, Spool & Sleeve assemblies and any other hydraulic device dedicated to fluid control, distribution and monitoring.
Applications range from Landing Gear Control Valves, Steering Control Valves, Ramp Door Modular Units, Selector Valves, Rotor Brake Pump Modules, Air Brake Control Valve Package.)
- Braking, Parking & Metering ( designed to support all the operative functionalities of the braking systems. Product line ranges from control modules integrating servovalves for brake-by-wire applications, to hydro-mechanical parking and metering modules.)
- Solenoid Valves (wide range of solenoid valves for critical applications such as Landing Gear Control Valves, Flight controls, Braking systems, Thrust Reverser Systems and Utilities.)
- Hydraulic Swivel Manifolds;
- Pressure Relief and Regulating Valves;
- Non Return Valves.

AEROSTRUCTURES: Thrust Reverse Assemblies, Passenger & Service Doors, Cargo Doors, Aerostructure Subassemblies.
- Thrust Reverser Assemblies (OMA is able to offer “ready to install” sub-assemblies integrating the Actuation System (Control Valves, Pivot Actuators, Latching Devices), the Thrust Reverser Doors, the Nacelle Aft structure, the Hydraulic Pipes and the Electrical Harnesses. Taking advantage of its expertise in metal manufacturing and surface treatments, OMA is able to deliver complex assemblies also integrating titanium shields to cope with the most demanding applications and hursh operative environments.
- Passenger & service Doors (OMA is used to engineer, manufacture and assemble Passenger and Service Doors for use on Regional and Business Jet aircraft, offering its expertise in aluminum, titanium and steel manufacturing and a vertical integration with single-source capabilities that include the execution in-house of all the certified special processes. The Door assemblies are usually equipped with all the opening/closing and latching/locking mechanisms in compliance with a Built to Print approach)
-Cargo Doors (OMA is able to engineer, manufacture and assemble Main Deck Cargo Doors for use on Passenger to Freighter converted aircraft and Large Cargo Doors for use on Cargo-converted or Cargo-native Regional aircraft. )
